Research into acupuncture confirms it does ease pain. However, we believe that the knowledge of the traditional acupuncture approach to help with a person’s energy (or Chi) provides far more relief, not just physically but also for the mind and spirit, resulting in improved general well-being.

Where tendons and muscles are contracted and tight, extra tension and strain is put on your joints. Massaging these soft tissue structures can release the strains on these joints thus helping to ease your physical aches and pains. At the same time you feel more relaxed.

We are what we eat. Each of us has a different dietary need. A lot of the foods available today are nutritionally deficient. Letting us look at your whole nutritional pattern, we are often able to advise you on how to make subtle changes to your diet so your body is able reverse inflammation in painful, aching areas.

Chronic over use and bad posture can lead to aches and pains due to some muscles being too tight and some too lax. In a Pilates session you are individually assessed and specific therapeutic exercises are advised and overseen at a pace appropriate to you to strengthen, support and stretch the relevant muscles.

Which therapy do you really need to help you with your aches and pains?

Sometimes you want help but you are not sure where, what or who to ask. Today is an opportunity when you can look into what help and support is available to you from five important therapies. If you would like to see what a therapy could offer, you can book in for a 20 minute taster of that therapy to help ease your aches and pains.

If you are unsure of what might help, then you can come along and either Drs Martin or Sue Allbright will see you, to listen to your situation and help you work out which therapies may be of support.

For more information and to make a booking in advance please contact Alison Moon tel: 07989 94 05 28

A minimum fee of £5 will be charged for each 20 minute taster session; all the monies raised on the day will go to charity.

With the stresses, strains and speed of daily life, our bone structure can lose its natural shape and then it complains to us with aches and pains. Zero balancing allows your body to find its own way home. It is a hands-on therapy, leading to a renewed bodily-felt integration and with it relief.
